Lake Mead is a very popular tour destination for those who visit Las vegas and Grand Canyon National
Park. Actual Lake Mead and Las Vegas Tours here include Hoover Dam tours and dinner cruises. Grand
Canyon helicopter tours cover the Lake Mead Area with flights over nearby Boulder City, Black Canyon,

Canyon West for sightseeing at Grand Canyon Sky Walk on Eagle Point. Others will land at the Hualapai
Indian Reservation. Too many possibilities to list here but I will be compiling the best in the coming months.
In this Virtual Grand Canyon Tours series we fly out of Boulder City Airport and end up above Lake Mead

compiling the best to provide to you in the coming months.

The Grand Canyon South Rim is at the heart when it comes to Grand Canyon lodging. Grand Canyon
hotels are mainly located around Tusayan and Grand Canyon Village. Real Grand Canyon tours here
include nearby vistas like Mather Point, Bright Angel Point, Yavapai Point, Desert View Watch Tower and
hikes down to the bottom of the canyon. Helicopter tours and airplane tours originating from the South Rim give
you spectacular views of such sights as the Tower of Ra, Dragon Corridor, Kaibab National Forest, the
Painted Desert, Marble Canyon, Point Imperial and of course the Colorado River to as far as Glen Canyon
and Lake Powell. There is now shortage of things to do at the Grand Canyon South Rim.
In this Virtual Grand Canyon Tours series that starts around Grand Canyon Village and Tusayan, we fly
just above the canyon rim following the Colorado River up stream all the way up to Lake Powell where we
land at nearby Page Municipal Airport. Please sit back, relax and enjoy.

the Grand Canyon. The duration of the rafting tours range from a couple of hours to a couple of weeks
depending on the tour operator and type of tour and traverse as far as the Hoover Dam at Lake Mead.
Helicopter and airplane tours are also available with views of the Kaibab National forest, Point Imperial,
The Painted Desert, Marble Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, Monument Valley, Glen Canyon Dam and Lake
Powell. I will be compiling tour information in the coming months to present on this site.
This Virtual Grand Canyon Tours Series begins at Page Municipal Airport, fly's over Glen Canyon Dam to
Lee's Ferry where we descend low to the river and follow it to the canyon below Grand Canyon Village.
So before you visit, feel free to enjoy this Virtual Grand Canyon Tours Series.
